  • Tourist Friendly Tuk Tuk
    The three-wheeler taxi service popularly referred to as the 'Tuk Tuk', is available in the city and other popular tourist locations. The 'Tourist Friendly Tuk Tuk’ project was launched in September 2009, to commemorate World Tourism Day. Each three-wheeler taxi has been fitted with a meter and will comply with tourist standards set by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). The Association is poised to add more of these tourist friendly three-wheeler taxies to their fleet in the near future in order to meet the increase in demand.
  • Gas Conversion with Dars Automobile, India
    3 Wheel Lanka linked up with Dars Automobile, India to test the feasibility of using gas instead of petrol. Dars Automobile helped 3 Wheel Lanka to assemble 5 gas units for testing purposes.
